This was really good.

It's really appropriate too when you consider that in the Novel Ozymandias spoke about marketing action figures and a Saturday morning cartoon about himself. The theme was fantastic and the puns were great (especially the part how Rorschach loves animals and Ozymandias saves the Comedian). I just finished reading the book a couple days ago. I thought it was kind of convoluted, what do you think?

Oh yeah...

When exactly is Pico 2 coming out again? It's only been in development for about 10 years but no rush... no rush...

Solid.

This is a movie that almost had to be done with sprites, however I couldn't help but feel the cartoon look took away from the drama. I'd love it if a bunch of animators got together and created an animated rock opera that brought the Protomen's first album to life. Good work though.

All of these are fantastic.

I'm kind of upset that Egoraptor's is the only one that isn't getting put down only because he's so popular and you expect this kind of thing from him. How come so many people are having trouble taking this in? There should be a small 10-15 person collab for these. Maybe that would be better received. They're all great.

I see what people are saying about this...

... but I love it. This is kind of a satire to all the garbage cartoons people post. The humor is the fact that two seemingly ordinary objects are involved in this convoluted murder plot. Maybe I'm just over analyzing this but I think it takes a bit of genius to make a parody of a parody of your own cartoon. This site isn't just about trying to see who's the best animator, it's a place for animator's and animations of all strengths and quality to be posted. People need to put on their big boy pants, get a sense of humor, and take this cartoon as a wake-up call, you pretentious trust fund hippies.

I hope that happens at my house...

... I want to be the one to find him passed out in my living room. I'm not sure if that was comedic, disturbing, or somewhere in between but it was charming none the less. Thanks for making cartoons.

To be completely blunt...

... I hated it. The art style didn't match the mature tone, the very limited story was disjointed and nothing was developed enough to get interested in the story. I've got a million questions but I don't really care to find the answers. Aliens? Are you serious? The animation itself was a little robotic too. There was a good amount of detail and the acting wasn't half bad for a flash cartoon but it didn't do anything for me.

that is ok. i am ok with that.

God, it breaks my heart.

It's obvious you've got a lot of animating savvy but again you've chosen to incorporate Sonic in it. It just kills me when anyone does that because it's such an overused concept and the subject matter has so little story potential. I just don't understand it. You put in effort though and it showed which is more than I can say for 90% of the cartoons I see on this site. I'd love to see you do something original but as long as you keep up the quality of your submissions, you've got my approval.

Here's a thought...

Just like the last series, I only found one of them was really worth watching (Resident Awesome, Prince of Awesome). I hope you don't just run out of ideas after you finish the first episode. If that's the case, you should have more artist who just make one short and make it kind of a collab. It would be a refreshing break from the pass-the-music-video collaborations this website is plagued with.

I'm sorry...

... I know you put some work into this but I don't get it. Sonic is such a terrible character to work with. I don't care about another scavenger hunt to save the emeralds that turn Sonic super-sayan. The art was a bit sloppy but I can see you put some shades and highlights that helped a little. The voices were pretty lame and it didn't help that the scripting (if you can call it that) was predictable and flat. I'm sorry, but if you're going to butcher the Mars Volta at least attempt and original concept. More likely than not, it'll be more respectable than this. Don't get me wrong, you put a lot more effort in this than 90% of the other morons on this site and if you just want easy votes that come with the subject matter, that's your choice but I'd like to see you try something new. Trust me, you can come up with something more interesting than a SEGA series that should have ended in the 90's.

Wow...where to start with this? 1st, thanks for the review. XD I feel you have hostility towards the Sonic franchise in general, but I will try to give you my points of view. You have jumped the gun on where my story was going based on the 1st episode. There will be no "scavenger hunts" and frankly the emeralds will only hinder Sonic's struggle. He was the underdog in the past, and I intend to show that side of him as this story progresses. Scripting? Well, I will work on that, but your put downs were unnecessary. I'm sorry you felt Mars Volta was "butchered", but again I think that stems from your distaste for the subject matter at hand. I took a risk doing this cartoon knowing full well that some people will love it or hate it. And frankly it seems I was right. I did a cartoon with only the intent of making something I would enjoy, and let it out, in hopes it would be appreciated as well. But there have been few and far "easy votes" because I think it's not a cartoon geared to the common Sonic fan. Some reviews have been nice and say it was "interesting" which reads to me as a nice way of saying "I didn't really like it, even if it WAS a Sonic cartoon." So you can be the judge of that. If you want to see my other work, click the site link in my profile. It's far different than this, my hobby. ^^

I'm making more short, simpler animations. I still plan to finish "Lunar Apocalypse Episode 1" but unfortunately I won't be continuing the series afterwords. Don't worry because I have plenty of original ideas already on the back burner.
