[Alex Seryoua: Episode I]

To be completely blunt...

... I hated it. The art style didn't match the mature tone, the very limited story was disjointed and nothing was developed enough to get interested in the story. I've got a million questions but I don't really care to find the answers. Aliens? Are you serious? The animation itself was a little robotic too. There was a good amount of detail and the acting wasn't half bad for a flash cartoon but it didn't do anything for me.

I'm sorry...

... I know you put some work into this but I don't get it. Sonic is such a terrible character to work with. I don't care about another scavenger hunt to save the emeralds that turn Sonic super-sayan. The art was a bit sloppy but I can see you put some shades and highlights that helped a little. The voices were pretty lame and it didn't help that the scripting (if you can call it that) was predictable and flat. I'm sorry, but if you're going to butcher the Mars Volta at least attempt and original concept. More likely than not, it'll be more respectable than this. Don't get me wrong, you put a lot more effort in this than 90% of the other morons on this site and if you just want easy votes that come with the subject matter, that's your choice but I'd like to see you try something new. Trust me, you can come up with something more interesting than a SEGA series that should have ended in the 90's.

Wow...where to start with this? 1st, thanks for the review. XD I feel you have hostility towards the Sonic franchise in general, but I will try to give you my points of view. You have jumped the gun on where my story was going based on the 1st episode. There will be no "scavenger hunts" and frankly the emeralds will only hinder Sonic's struggle. He was the underdog in the past, and I intend to show that side of him as this story progresses. Scripting? Well, I will work on that, but your put downs were unnecessary. I'm sorry you felt Mars Volta was "butchered", but again I think that stems from your distaste for the subject matter at hand. I took a risk doing this cartoon knowing full well that some people will love it or hate it. And frankly it seems I was right. I did a cartoon with only the intent of making something I would enjoy, and let it out, in hopes it would be appreciated as well. But there have been few and far "easy votes" because I think it's not a cartoon geared to the common Sonic fan. Some reviews have been nice and say it was "interesting" which reads to me as a nice way of saying "I didn't really like it, even if it WAS a Sonic cartoon." So you can be the judge of that. ... who actually remember that show, but I'm sorry; this movie is crap. It's a shallow trip down memory lane.

Sprite cartoons with quality?

Why I've never heard such a thing! I usually believe cartoons like this lack creativity but your effort shows in this cartoon. Most flash cartoons aren't fully voiced or as animated as this. As far as spriting goes, this was awesome.

Simple animation is what flash is all about

I liked the simplicity. Though the animation suffered slightly, the cartoon itself was fun to watch because it wasn't too cluttered. The music was clever in the way it went along with the movie. The style of humor was chaotic and random which made me laugh. The big green Hulk picture totally stood out with the simple black and white character punching him but it only added to the randomness. Overall a half decent movie with a clever style and obvious work put into it. Considering the effort, I think that's enough to earn you a 5.

Best episode yet!

Being Smitty's brother, I figured I'd review this work of art (and also because one of you reviewed my horrible monstrosity of nature I called Stick Wars). Well the series is officially a series. By that I mean you have everything that makes one great. You have defining characters, you have a simple yet original flair, humor, and jokes that you'd only understand from seing previouse episodes ("Mmm... cupcakes." "Mama."). I am going to give you some constructive critisism... thinking... thinking... damn. My mind has gone blank. Either this cartoon is flawless or it's because I'm related to my brother. I just hope he doesn't ask me to be the best man when he marries that cow.

[Robins Revenge]

Sub Par

I always loved Robing over Batman (Dick Grayson especially). I loved the idea that Robin became Batman when the original Batman retired one way or the other. However, it was poorly exacuted. The art wa great though, like many, you got a little carried away with the gradient fills. However, the action was too slow and there was very little plot. Work on this idea, make it longer, get some better music (what ever happened to the classic Danny Elfman from the Tim Burton movies?), and you'll have something nice. Good effort. For that you get a 5.

You are the coolest guy in the world... EVER!

Every time I check the most recent submissions I find some Piconjo piece of crap. It pisses me off. You on the other hand, have spent your time to make something that defaces it. We need more people like you who realize this guy has the flash skill of a 6-year-old and that his only real accomplishment is taking up space on the greatest flash site in the world. You are a god among insects.
