I can see the series is taking on a new direction. The new focus on story is a welcome addition not to say I didn't like the small vignettes. Now that we've been introduced to the creatures however, it's great to see how they mingle. The tragedy behind Bitey was a surprise. It's like I found out a friend of 6 years is actually a manic depressive. The voice acting was top notch although the animation seemed to be more simplified. That isn't necessarily bad. If you can squeeze the cartoons out faster, the quality in this episode was more than adequate. Hell, that one sillouette shot almost makes me want to buy a t-shirt.

When I first started visiting Newgrounds about 8 years ago, this was one of the first games I played. My brother and I laughed at the voice work. There was something about the way Hooch delivered lines like "Here's yo' fuckin' money, bitch!" that got us every time. I didn't get into the Stick Slayer 'til the last episode but the man was talented. Rough but talented. Being one of the first artists came across on this site, it's really sad to hear about his untimely passing. Maybe the game itself doesn't deserve the full 10 (although it was great for its time) but I'm going to rate it as such and vote 5 as a little token of appreciation for his efforts.

Not your best work but it was charming. However, the website is ridiculous. Heath Ledger did a good job but most of the reason his character was so well recieved was because of the infamy surrounding it. I don't like them recasting characters period but you can't just retire a character because the actor is gone. He was a different Joker but some day he will be done even better.

The art was reminiscent of Samurai Jack and the music was catchy. I also loved the character design with the spare legs on the side of his horse and the shot composition was great. Really fun movie.

Something was different the second time I watched it. Can't quite put my finger on it...

Honestly, I loved this though. Your dialogue is actually one of my favorite parts of your cartoons so I didn't mind the long conversation. I kind of liked the original ending because it was more open ended. You should have put the impaled one as an easter egg at the end. Just a thought. Love it though.

This was a fantastic art game. There really isn't anything like this. I felt the main character (you) was in the middle of a protest (obviously) but he saw both sides of the argument so when the white side began overpowering the debate he told them the great points of the black side. However, then everyone agreed with the black side so he started telling people about the white side's points. Eventually he began talking to both sides about a compromise (gray side). However, these misguided people couldn't think for themselves and therefore had to follow someone else's idea (much like religion). What people don't realize is that nothing is black or white and we'll only coexist peacefully if we speak the same wavelength and meet in that gray area in the middle.
